When I was little, I gathered the neighbourhood children and taught them dance, painting, drama, and a thousand other things!As you can understand, this always gave me joy, and I never stopped doing it! Now I am even happier because I receive love, vitality and hope from the children, and all this gives me courage! I would not change their hugs for anything in the world!

From a young age, I had a weakness for animals, and I was very interested in psychology! I studied to be a social worker, and I have the luck and joy to work in an environment that offers stimuli, skills, knowledge and shapes personalities with principles and values! Let’s all continue together to provide the best to our little travelers; after all, they are our future!

When I was a child, I always told my mother that I would become a kindergarten teacher because I loved children. Finally, I grew up and made my dream come true. I admire the children’s sincerity and endless laughter. They give me joy and happiness when I am with them. After so many years of being an educator, I could not imagine myself doing anything else.

I loved my childhood, and my professional life has led me back to it. I bend down to say good morning and hug my little friends every day! I am constantly learning new things by their side, and in their own way they help me develop as a person!! Time stops when I am with them, and at the same time it is filled with moments of purity, diversity, and true love!!

I was born and raised in Dusseldorf, Germany, where I studied pedagogy, and I have been a kindergarten teacher for 26 years. I am quite often asked why I have chosen this profession. Every day is different for a kindergarten teacher; every day is like a little adventure. Every day, through the children’s inspiration, we create beautiful ideas together. Every moment in the day, my children generously offer me their smiles and love.
For me, it’s not just a profession, it’s a magical world that never ends!

I always believed that dreams come true! The last few years my two big dreams, basketball and children, are 24/7 in my life! I am a part of them and they are a part of me. I enjoy every moment teaching, playing, and having fun. I want to bring inspiration as well as be a role model to my students. I feel confident that nothing can stop me from achieving all my goals …and scoring more points!

I am a native English speaker from England. My objective from early on in life has been to be a dedicated educator who inspires children of all ages and abilities. I feel that with my theatrical and teaching background I can cultivate creative, confident and enthusiastic learners who are ready to take on the world around them. As teachers, we possess a tremendous power and a great responsibility to shape the new generation into kind, compassionate, confident and intelligent young people capable of achieving their dreams.

I teach mathematics and STEM. I have always been fascinated by the wonders of nature, so I naturally fell in love with science. Soon I realised what a powerful tool maths is to understand the world around us and gravitated towards mathematics for further studies.

In this picture you can see my first music students! I had my dolls all set and ready for a music lesson at the age of 4. After 38 years of playing piano and 23 of teaching music, I have to admit that when words fail, music speaks louder than anything!

I am a graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science (T.E.F.A.A.) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Greek Traditional Dance. I am a mother of 2 girls, and my interest in children led me to attend the educational programme “Special Education” of the University of the Aegean (Center for training and lifelong learning). For the 6th year I am the physical education teacher at DES nursery and kindergarten. In my spare time I like to be involved in sports and dance.

I studied classical ballet and contemporary dance and have always remained faithful to ballet.
As I get older, I think I made perhaps the most important decision in my life because I couldn’t have done anything else in my professional life! I enjoy what I do, and I truly love it; I love sharing it with the kids! When I was studying my teacher had told us ” to become a good teacher you have to make your students better than you, otherwise there will be no evolution in dance…” and all these years this is what I have been doing! My goal is to get the best out of my students so that they can help in the evolution of the whole world!!
