“With Eyes Turned to the Sky” Year 2 Leonardo Da Vinci -Flying Machines 

The students of the 2nd grade of Elementary School embarked on an exciting journey into the world of inventions, studying Leonardo da Vinci’s flying machines. They explored two of his most fascinating creations, the ornithopter and the aerial screw. The children prepared a presentation about the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci and, through voice comments, described the idea’s conception and the successful design of two fantastic inventions that forever changed the concept of flight step by step.

The kids used digital multimedia tools such as Voicethread during the group project.
