Introducing Parents 4 DES, a parent-led initiative that aims to support the operations, events & communications of our children’s school.
Georgia Zantouliadis and Dina Sagia, two parents at DES, started P4D back in 2022, as an informal club comprising of passionate parents that wish to enhance themes of togetherness and community spirit for and within DES.
We aim to do this through greater parent connectivity and involvement in school events and activities.
- Community Building – bringing people & families together; especially new parents & children
- Encouraging Spirit – participation & enthusiasm at school events/trips
- Communication Sharers – circulate communications, important messages and event reminders
- Sharing is Caring – sharing of experiences, ideas, offers & tips
- Class Teacher Contact – support & enhance parent-class participation
- Trust & Visibility – across all P4D events and fundraising
- Can-Do-Approach – we can’t promise to solve everything, but we can listen and try to find solutions together
At the same time, we believe it is important to share that we welcome positive constructive comments & solutions.
We do not replace formal correspondence with the school regarding your child’s progress & development, neither the school’s operation nor management. This duty still lies with the parents to manage directly with the school.
